Reading this archive
This record documents what the current Reference One prototype is designed to do. The datasets are synthetic sample data: they encode our simulation and bench targets, are generated deterministically, and will be replaced — entry by entry — with calibrated bench measurements before pre-orders open.
Every chart on this page carries the sample watermark, every CSV filename
ends in -sample, and this page is excluded from search indexes until the
data is real. See Methodology for how we define and
promote evidence levels.
What is shown
- On-axis frequency response at 1 m, Prototype A (early crossover) against Prototype B (current). The visible difference around 2–3 kHz is exactly the problem the waveguide redesign was commissioned to solve.
- Horizontal directivity of Prototype B, shown relative to on-axis. The goal is a smooth, monotonic narrowing — no sudden beaming steps at the crossover.

The raw CSVs for every chart are listed below each figure. File names carry
the -sample suffix so synthetic data can never be confused with measured
data downstream.
