Design highlights

- Clock and power isolation between the network board and the audio path.
- Silent solid-state design: no fan, no moving parts, low EMI layout.
- Architecture documented as a playback diagram, not invented performance graphs.
The goal
A source that respects your library. Stream One plays whatever you own or broadcast — files on a NAS, a USB stick, internet radio, AirPlay from a phone, UPnP from any server — and hands the signal to the amplifier without adding noise of its own.
Playback sources
- AirPlay — from any Apple device, multi-room capable.
- Bluetooth — receive mode for casual listening.
- UPnP / DLNA — gapless renderer for any compliant server and control app.
- NAS / SMB — direct network file playback.
- USB local — plug in storage, play.
- Internet Radio — stations and streams, browsable by genre.
We chose open, portable standards deliberately. Your system should keep working no matter which phone or app you settle on.
What we are documenting
Digital sources are often marketed with performance graphs that do not correspond to anything audible. We are taking a different route: the Streaming & Playback research page documents the playback architecture — the actual signal path from network to DAC — and a measurement archive will be added when we have an established test procedure for sources. Until then, you get architecture, not invented curves.
